Rider went down at Red Rock tonight just south of Bonnie Springs. I was with 3 other guys and 4 burros scattered on the road. I squeaked by first with just a bit of ass snot on my arm, second rider made thru and so did the 3rd just barely. The tail rider was concerned about the 3rd rider being in a wobble and hit one of the burros. He managed to slow a bit and some how did an amazing leap frog manuever. He walked away without a scratch, but the bike didn't fair so well. It went end over end. Front is smashed, sub frame is wasted. Amazingly the bike started after and was actually rideable to ride it back to town. although the left rear sets were broken off his electronic shifter still worked. This guy was one lucky S.O.B. Side note.......Just want to say thanks to the FUCKTARD NHP cars that drove by us with our hazards on and bike parts scattered all over the road. They flashed thier lights and kept on going. Thanks for stopping to make sure everyone was ok. Douchebags!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ya, I couldn't believe it myself. Looked in the rear view saw 3 lights and then only 2. This could have been so much worse. I think he went into a stoppie and that is when he hit. Burros are all over out there. People pull over during the day and feed them. I have ridden up there at night many times and never seen them out. It was one hell of a surprise for us that's for sure. Could have sworn I saw the bastards high fiving each other like the squirrels in the GEICO commercial after they got off the road.

Shouldn't this be Burro Down, and not Rider Down? I got some ass pucker worrying about another rider.

You are right. Maybe should have titled this differently, but the damn burro didn't go down. My appologies to evryone that reads this thread. Didn't mean to put a scare in anyone.
