My bike was stolen last night from the area of Warm Springs and Arroyo Grande. 08 Gsxr 750 Blue & Wht. If anyone hears anything or by some slim chance sees it, please get a hold of me. After market add on are few. Full Yosh R77 stainless exhaust and Power Commander III. Calvin Hobbs......Piss On My Ex vinyl on the windscreen and fender has been removed. I will post more pics if and when I find the damn things, but these give ya the basics. Any help is much appreciated and There will be a REWARD for anyone with info leading to the return of my bike. That blows man. And along with the pics, post a list of the aftermarket mods. I'll make sure this post gets bumped for a while.

I'll keep an eye out. Sorry to hear about your loss. I hope you have insurance.

Just by curiosity, how was it stolen? During the night, was it garage kept? Etc.

I was visiting a friend in Green Valley and sadly it was an apartment. It was late at nite when it was stolen and had to have been loaded in a truck. He lives at the only entrance to this place and I would have heard it if someone were to get it started and ride it out.

I'm sure you already checked, but just in case.......

being that it's an apartment complex, maybe it was towed? When it comes to these types of property, they are very anal if you end up parking somewhere that you're not suppose to. Like a designated stall? Or if you had expired tags, that is another reason to boot your bike off their lot.

Just a thought?

If you can't see your bike, you shouldn't be parked there. The only exception to that rule is in a locked garage.

Now that's kind of silly. I agree, you have to think carefully where you decide to park, but to say that it should never leave your sight is ridiculous. What's the purpose of owning a bike? That's what insurance is for.

What you shouldn't leave out of your sight is your helmet. I see helmets left on the bikes all the time. I don't care if it's locked or not. If your helmet gets damaged or stolen, they have pretty much disabled your bike. I take it with me everytime.

It was just unfortunate that his bike was stolen, it could have happend to any of us.

+1 on check with the towing company and +1 on asking the apt's for surveillance video. I assume that you already reported it as stolen to the police...

Not really silly, its good advice for people who don't feel like paying their deductable or don't have full coverage. To me its just part of sportbike ownership.

I appreciate all the feedback. Yes, my bike was out of direct sight, but not out of mind. In the time was was there I made a few checks as I always do. I have checked with the apts about video and unfortunately they don't believe in big brother. As much as I hope to get her back in the same condition, the odds of that are less than slim and none. The kick in the sack is this bike was purchased with life insurance from my mothers passing, so it was basically the last gift from her and had more sentimental value than anything.

sorry about the loss! I know all to well about the sentimental value on a bike. My VTX belonged to my late father, and even if they would have replaced it with a new one it wouldn't be the same. I will keep an eye out as well.

That is around the corner from my house but I havn't seen one of them in a long time :( This post will make sure I stay vigilent with anchoring my bike to the ground with a huge chain, I sometimes get lazy with that.
