I've got 1300 miles on my one year old 2010 Harley. Its a great bike and makes me wish I had bought a Harley years ago instead of wasting my time on other bikes.

Problem is, I havent ridden it since May and have no desire to. I see new bikes coming out and dont care for them at all. I think after 30 years of riding, I dont care for motorcycles anymore.

But I recently noticed something... the used airplane market has done the same thing that the housing market did. I think time to part with the two bikes in my garage and buy another plane

I'm poor so I can't afford to buy another bike. I'm just so fortunate that my FZ has been trouble free for almost 54,000 miles.

You bought the wrong bike is all! Cruisers are nice but thats all they do is cruise. Now don't get me wrong, I've had Spock (Vulcan Classic 1500 chromed and flamed) for over 3 years now. It's a nice bike, but compared to the Busa, it doesn't. The Busa, like all sport bikes brings your mind and body to the next level of life. Like they say, life begins at 170 or in my case 140 is just fine.

I've owned 3.

1966 Piper Cherokee 140, Pulsar XP, and a Glasair I. I'm looking more towards high wing, tail-dragger type planes this time because they can get in & out of more places.

I've never owned a sport bike. You think I should try one?

I'm joking of course, I've owned just about every type (several of each type) of bike other than a supermoto. Out of all of them I like my Harley the best, its a touring bike and not really just a cruiser. My girl doesnt want me to get rid of it or it would have been gone already along with the VTX1800 sitting next to it.

Maybe you just need a break from riding.
After awhile- the fever may return.

Well, I've taken a break since May. Thats 6 months

I was going to turn in my plates but I went ahead and renewed the registration anyway, my girlfriend likes the Harley and doesnt want me to get rid of it. I paid cash for it so its not like its really costing me anything to sit in the garage so I guess I'm hanging on to it for a while longer.
