just want to say hi to all and introduce myself. i'm 32 just started riding again after a 12 year highades. my plan are to tryied to ride at least 50% of my time if not more. pretty much would rather ride my motorcycle than sit in my car alone. i finisn my class at csn like 3 week ago. i have been honing my skills slow. just started actualy ride on the main street like loosey and craig which is were i live. i ride a rc 51 which i know its not a good bike to choose to start riding again but i got it for a really good price so i couln't pass it up. thats the main reason i have been xrta carefull i practice before i start ride regularly. any tips from rider with similar bikes would be appericated.

Hey, welcome to the site. I myself just finished the MSF course a few weeks back, so I'm a beginner too. I've said it before and I'll say it again, you won't find a more nurturing group. Everyone's very supportive and completely pressure free. Can't wait to meet you at one of the get togethers or rides. Ride safe bro!

Welcome to the site brotha! Take care of that RC51, shes a beast. It sounds like you took your MSF class at csn? Or you just finished school?

If you havent def take advantage of a MSF Course.

Im a Diehard Honda guy. Congrats on getting a RC51. Thats a lot of bike you got there. Just knowing that its something you need to work up to is half the battle. Take your time, learn it, own it...and try to be on your A Game everytime your in the saddle. Again, congrats and welcome.

Welcome and congrats on the RC. I have an 03 RC. My advice, outside of what everyone else said, is keep an eye on the temp. RC's are known for naturally running hot but in this heat things can become a hot mess quickly. Especially practicing in a lot without much air to cool.

Welcome to the site! Great job doing the MSF first. Great bike that RC51. I also live around Craig & Losee. The, er, green bike. You'll hear it more than you'll see it...

+1 on Steve @ Las Vegas DynoTech for any/all work needed... it's just 10 minutes door to door.
