Well, if you want sound you could just cut your exhausts and make it sound like a moto gp bike hehhe. But its all really up to you, how it looks, how it sounds. Two bros and D&D, jardine, hot bodies, racefit, are some of the loudest exhausts. Akro, yosh, leo vince, vance and hines, maybe some of the pricier exhausts but provide better performance. All bout how you like the look after that and if you want to go full system (header + exhaust) or slip on (just the exhaust)..

id prefer a black slip on and i dont think i need a full exhoust for more power, i think its enough for me. somewhere around 400$ for a slip on ? and how long does installation take of the slip on because i dont want the dealer to rip me off for 200 labor or so :D

I have a hot bodies megaphone. Its pretty loud. I got mine installed at cycle tech. He only charged me like 40 bucks or something like that. Last edited by MIXERR; 06-22-2011 at 02:11 PM. |

Slip on is just that, it slips on, usually a few bolts or some kind clamp. I had mine bolted up and on in under 30 min. You could probably google your bike + slip on and find out how to install it yourself. You may or may not need to remove your fairings. Usually it is pretty easy to install. If you are looking for a black/carbon can, the price will probably go up, but most exhaust makers have exhausts in either a black, carbon or stainless finish. Start looking, ebay, craigslist, online shops. Prices can all vary so shop around!

Like Arson said, it's all personal preference. Check out some of the manufacture websites. They usually have a nice picture of the bike with their different exhausts. Two Bros is loud and inexpensive as are most megaphones. When I go to get an exhaust, I will prob get an Akra. I like their mini slip on mad of carbon fiber and since it's a shorty it will have a nice sound to it. Your's being a twin it will have a nice deep rumble | |
