So, I was browsing on Ebay this morning and I come across a picture if a bike that looks just like mine (2007 750) advertised as a 600. It says it just came in as a post accident fixer-upper. So I politely email the guy to let him know that all the signs point to it being a 750 because of the forks, the stripes, etc. I thought I was being nice a possibly helping the guy out. There was no vin tag on the frame either. So I receive an email stating it's a 750 frame with a 600 motor. So I thought, "Ok, that is totally possible since they share about 98% of the parts. So I click back on the link to item, and the item was removed. Did I just snub some sneaky activity on accident?

quite possibly. My question is why would someone stuff a 600 motor in a 750 frame? Usually it's the other way around. With the number of GSX-R600's on the road, I don't understand why a 600 frame couldn't be found. Either way, it does sound a little fishy. Good lookin out. You probably saved somebody some serious headaches, and probably prevented an ass kicking! Good work!

LOL everything is questionable on ebay. Though when you are bawlin on a budget like myself, you can find some pretty good deals there on auto and bike parts/accessories.
