I like the Woodcrafts on my Gixxer. The replaceable pucks (about 14 bucks each) make it easy/cheap to swap out after a spill. They work well. And I'm sure we can do an install sometime for beer/pizza.

I'd do the high-density plastic. But I guess you could do one and buy a set of replacement pucks in the other material.

Looks like there's only one type made for your bike (on Kneedraggers), but what ever you do, don't get the no cut type that has the slider mounting to some sort of L-shaped bracket. My buddy had a low speed low side on his CBR1000 and had this type of slider and it snapped off right at that little L-bracket and still tore up the right side of his bike. The bike wasn't in the dirt either, just slid down the street and never hit anything for the slider to grip on that would have caused it to snap

I've got the Sato Racing No-Cuts. On my bike they actually sit on a bracket that has 3 triangulated mounting points. I agree with R3K though. Some no cuts that have a "L" bracket I hear suck. Look for something that has triangulated mounts like mine or are straight.

Woodcraft FTW, if they make them for your bike.

I've heard good things about Woodcraft. Not sure what kind I have....they are CF and polished aluminum with a clean cut job. Along with matching swingarm spools. Wish I could take credit for them, but my bike was hooked up that way when I got it.

I have vortex on both of my bikes. You can buy different sizes and colored pucks.

I've never seen that type of no cut bracket before. That looks like the business right there! I imagine that style won't fit all models of bikes though. Gotta have somewhere to mount the triangle to.

Frame sliders are not that hard to install. Usually requires that you take out ONE engine bolt at a time.

So, loosen the pinch bolt that secures the engine bolt in place. Take out the left engine bolt, put your new frame slider in and the bolt, bolt it down to torque specs and tighten the pinch bolt and then put your puck on and move to the right side. Repeat!

You want to see what they look like after a 30-40 mph slide?

The end caps screw on and off and are replacable. Only damage to my bike, thanks to my sliders was a scratched mirror, scratched upper left fairing and scratched bottom casing on my engine.

Notice that the bolt did not break, and the bike just slid on the hard plastic.
