Leaving on Saturday morning around 3 am and heading out for my ten day roadtrip. Going through Pahrump thru Death Valley and up to Yosemite. Then up through the Sierra's and work my way up to Lake Tahoe, where I will spend an arm and a leg for a nice hotel Satuday night. 800 miles.

Then Sunday, onto Lassen National Park and then onto Redding Ca. From there I will hit the twisties, 299 and 96 and then up to Cave Junction Oregon for two nights at the Cave Junction Chateu. Two days of riding in Southern Oregon and Northern Cal. Crater Lake is on the menu.

Then up north to Portland for a couple of days and then I don't know where I should go. Maybe Sun Valley ID? Help me out folks. Open to suggestions.

No kidding. The only thing I regret that I won't have with me is a Spot Tracker.

I'll try to post pics along the way if I have time.

I went thru Death Valley at 5 am, and it was still hot! although I had to put up with the heat, the roads are much better as it gets really twisty as you exit on the east end towards 395. Hwy 120 got pretty fun towards the end as I approached Sonora Ca. Got to luv those Cali drivers who always pull off to the side of the road to let the faster bikes or me go by. I took why 49 to Hwy. 88 into Tahoe.

16 hr on the saddle yesterday, 690 miles and two National Parks. Onto Mt. lassen and N. cal roads today on my way to S. Oregon.

I had thought about heading up through DV, its one of my favorite rides. I was just concerned with the heat, but in hindsight ...

Keep those pictures comin!
