Thanks, I have some videos of some shows and from stunt wars in Orlando fl I can dig up after my move...really got board with it. Wanted to get into gp racing but the closest track to me is over 4 hrs away.....I do have a few questions that might sound dumb but I've never been to Vegas. I see pics of people suited up w jacket..boots ect. Here in fl, it too hot n humid during the summer to even think about a jacket.....I almost allways wear a lid.......helment law???

The nice thing out here is the low humidity will work in your favor better with a jacket. You build up some sweat or better yet throw on a cool vest under the jacket and when you are moving the evaporation will cool you down pretty well. Tread is right though, Las Vegas is the mixing bowl of drivers from all over the country. You take a little old lady from the midwest, some Californians and sprinkle that with tourists who are already lost and you get Las Vegas traffic. I lived in California for a few years and wrecks happened but everyone was pretty much on the same page. Wrecks here can be epic. |

Yes to helmet law. I don't think anyone said that yet. And most of us on this forum wear our gear cuz we ride like everyday is a track day... except for the trackday nazi's that will tell you to "take it to the track" lol personally, I've been called a gear nazi... though I haven't got the patch fo it yet... and +1 on better to sweat in your gear than burn skin off on the asphalt. Even in 100+ I still wear my full leather gear. Just like Green Dragon said, it's like everyday is track day!!! Wish it could be though.........

Welcome, bro. Yeah, you do get used to the heat. Just remember, sweat wipes off, road rash doesn't.

I wouldn't mind learning how to do some stunts, definately my weakest areas. If we can find a safe environment, I'm all for it. As far as gear, do you want to look like a Poser or a Pro? For those who like to look professional, wear full gear. You might want to look into getting mesh and get some air flow.
