A 21-year-old motorcyclist was killed Tuesday evening after a traffic collision in the northwest valley.

Las Vegas police said the man, who was not identified, was riding a 2004 Suzuki GSX-R600 west on Craig Road at Cimarron Road.

Got it from 702 forum.

Why are they always so skimpy on the details? How fast? Gear? Who was running the light? That sucks though. R.I.P.

Even if he was wearing the gear and obeying all traffic laws, what does that matter? Some one lost a life. I believe we all know what the dangers are of riding a motorcycle here in las vegas. It's up to the individual to ride how they want to ride, whether it be responsibly or not. It's all a moot point now. The only ones it matters to now is the family and should be reserved for them. Respectfully so.

That is why intersections is the # 1 areas for conflict for a motorcyclists!

Know matter how large or small of an intersection or if there is a stop light or sign, if there is somebody that can deny your right away, the danger will always be there. So never assume, always cover your controls, slow down or adjust your position if you have to, always look left, right left again.

You cannot ride a motorcycle with a car's mentality.

Riding is 90% mental! Know How, Where and What to look for!

RIP!

Maybe I'm just prejudice, but it seems like if a car accident causes a death there's a huge story about it with all the details of both parties involved, where they were going, how fast, what happened, any intoxicants. All of the motorcycle stories I've read are all just the bare minimum of details. Somebody riding some bike died at this intersection. I think this is the first I've read where they actually told us what kind of bike.
