Lookin for some riding buddies for dirt. I have both bikes and quads and some other contraptions as well for dirt use.

Still kinda new to LV so dont really know anyone and have a messed up schedule that makes it tough to do the RR rides and such (Although i need to do more). Needless to say I still dont know a lot of people in the area and dont know ANY people that ride dirt.

Anyway, if any of you hooligans rock the dirt every now and then, I would love to join in on the antics. Only real place i know to ride at is Apex but i have been told (by several different people and almost verbatim) that you can ride anywhere and when the cops show up, just run. I dont need to go to jail in LV but im also not a goodie goodie so a little adventure is good with me.

Anyone down? Shoot me a PM. My schedule kind of allows for random times so short notice generally works for me. Mainly I just want to get out and meet some people and riding buddies and new places to ride.

Yamaha 490 2 stroke! I would definitely say that's a beast! I owned a CR500 for a short time. Decided I wanted to live and sold it

yeah I got a bit of a clutch slipping issue right now though... Still rideable but slipps when i dump gears at high revvs, usually 3 and up. The things a tractor though! would climb a tree if it had enough traction and can still do 80mph.

Sounds like a lot of fun. I went ATV riding twice, bought a bunch of equipment, then ended up buying my R6 instead of an ATV. Go figure! Anyway, I'd love to get back into the dirt again.

Im not too worried, there arent any paved intersections in the dirt... and if he somehow manages, the quad will let him know he messed up way more then his bike will. lol

I wish I still had my MX bikes. I used to race, but then got too old for it. Used to run a YZ250 and then a YZ250F before I sold them and bought my first R1 I had. I miss it a lot, but the only places I've heard of riding here are either the tracks at Mesquite, Sandy Valley or Boulder City. However, for just joy riding (no track), I've heard of Apex. Never been to any of them as I sold my MX bikes before I moved here.

Hope you guys have fun, but be safe too. :)

I got a '06 YZF450 and not enough friends that ride dirtbikes & quads. Im usually off and available to ride Saturdays and Sundays.

Odysseys are Dope! I've always wanted one.

Also I have a trailer, big enough to haul two quads if we stack'em.

Odysseys are fun. This one is stock, but in the past I had a total of 7 including my current, and this is the first one that has remained stock. All of my others got 60+ HP sled motors (smallest was a 64HP polaris 340 twin and the largest was a Kawasaki 520cc with 110HP and water cooled). most were also modified with full rear suspension.

I have a truck and trailer as well so moving them is not an issue. I did learn last week that I can get the odyssey in the truck and both of my quads and one dirtbike on the trailer with a little creativity.

Im all for it this weekend. Im getting the new gearing for one of my quads so im all about trying that out. And dont worry, I can hang with bike on my little YamaSaki no problem. My IT i need to tack up my exhaust mount but otherwise ready to go there.

I've got an LTR-450 and a RZR XP that I play in the dirt with. Going out to Razor Road in Cali for Halloween weekend as a matter a fact. Earth is my toybox, asphalt, dirt, and even water, that's where I play!

What u should have said was there was a small innocent child that was gonna get hit by a semi truck and you heroiclly and selflessly placed yourself and your bike in harms way to save the kid... and it worked and are being awarded the key to the city next week for your brave actions.

That's what I would have done.

Just sayin.
