I Ride: Yamaha R6, 2008
Hey everyone, I was in the middle of doing my first oil change today and came to the end of it and found out the previous owner stripped the threads inside the oil pan off and then JB welded it back together. Does anyone know someone who is parting out a 2008-09 R6? Need an oil pan ASAP and the only one I can get wouldn't be here till November 10th. My bike is my only way of transportation. Thanks for the help if you can!

If you cant get a replacement pan soon enough...JB weld that one again in the meantime.
When the other gets in, change it out.

Depending on how bad the threads are on the existing pan, you might be able to re-thread it.
Thread inserts.

You might be able to get a last resort plug to get you by until you get the new pan
