Sweet!!! I'll pm you my number and we can coordinate. Its $185 and there is a requirement for safety wired bolts in a few spots and no coolant. I could totally help you with the safety wire. Gotta use water and water wetter. It's a race weekend so that's why they have the requirements.

Talked to Dale yesterday, less than 5 spots in A, 5 in B, and maybe 8 in C so if you're gonna do this one ya better get on it stat. He also said if you aren't actually racing, even if you're a fast trackday rider, to sign up in C and then if needed you can bump groups during the day.

Signed up, card charged, bike safety wired, ready to do this shit. I'll probably try to pit to the north of the covered pit area since that south side will probably be packed with haulers and shit. Curious, what's your track experience JetMech?

Couple of trackdays. Dragged knee my last time time out. Then dragged shoulder, elbow, hips, and eventually my whole right side too. But lots of variables went into that. Riding on 4 year old tires didn't help any. I plan on buying some Super Corsas at the track from Dale so I'm hoping the stickier rubber will help. I usually pit in the north area too.

Did Treadhead sign up?

Yeah I wadded it up going a little hot into turn 1 at LVMS back in October. Luckily, I got it on film.



I've got 3.5 trackdays at LVMS, and I just completed the New Racer School at Chuckwalla on the 21st with Rob, so if you wanna pit together I can give ya some advice. Since it's an actual WERA race weekend there should be some fairly experienced riders out there whose brains you can also pick.

Well this sucks...I'm officially OUT. I have to travel the next week. Just got the call this afternoon. Dale was pretty cool about and gave me a full refund. So theres another spot open now.

Not going to make this ride but definitely going to make the pahrump one.
