Fatality... It was a black CBR600... Hispanic male age 30... Collided with a black SUV in the intersection... conflicting witness reports about how the rider was riding just prior to the accident... just sad. RIP rider.

Unbelievable. RIP. Prayers go out to his/her family and friends. Just thought I should post this. This was a comment left below the story by one of the readers in response to some dumbasses leaving stupid ass comments about motorcyclists. Please, Please be careful out there folks!!! Her response to such comments: "Some of you are real DIRTBAGS!!! You all just sit here and post stupid crap and make fun of a person who lost his life .... Dont you all think that his family is goin thru alot already? And seeing your comments makes it even harder... You all have no idea what had happened.. My child and I do... We were there .. We saw this horrific accident and my child and I both cannot rest nor get this sight out of our heads... A man laid under a white sheet not able to go home to his family because a driver thought her family was more imporatant and shaving some time by running a light cost him his life and his family suffers by this drivers act of selfishness... Its a sad sight ... This intersection has had three deaths all on MOTORCYCLES AND CAUSED BY DRIVERS RUNNING THE LIGHT ! ALL THIS HAS HAPPENED IN LESS THAN ONE WEEK! PEOPLE YOU ALL NEED TO SLOW DOWN AND BE MORE OBSERVANT!! Your families need you to come home to them and not lying under a sheet ... my heart and my prayers go out to his family may he rest in peace..... | |

RIP And always wear your gear! Look like a pro, not a poser. As far as the driver running a red light, yes that driver took away the motorcycle's right of way. But everyone has to realize that it's your responsiblity every time you ride through that intersection to make sure that it's clear. Never asssume just because you have the green. Intersections is where you will encounter the greatest conflict, so becareful and please keep your speeds down when you're riding out on those surface streets.
