| I'm already almost 50cc less motor than the new ZX14. How much more of an edge does the 14 need? True, if the ZX14 owner upgraded to a 1500cc bike it would probably beat me but c'mon...So it takes 100cc more 14 to beat a Busa? Don't get me wrong, I like all bikes and respect most. One bike I use to race a lot until he sold it was a Zx14 with nitrous, he would win some, I would win some, its all fun but I am super passionate about the Busa.

| That's true, stock to stock comparison a ZX 14 will beat a Busa but the new ZX14 has 100cc more than the Gen II Busa which brings me back to my point, it takes a 100cc more ZX14 to beat a Busa. And by the way, the ZX14 had bolt on's in Vegas, flashed ECU and professional rider. If a professional rider rode mine the bike would be closer to 8.6's to 8.7's. It has the power just not a good enough pilot yet.

| Being that the ZX14 has an extra 100cc over the Gen II Busa, I agree with you. But comparing something a little more on the same playing field like a 2008 Busa (1340cc) and a 2010 ZX14 (1352cc), the Busa will spank him all day. Why don't we just compare a ZX6 to a Busa? Pretty lopsided huh?

| Yeah, I've seen videos simular to these but there are just as many showing a Busa winning too. Also it depends on who modded what and who can ride. The video above shows the 1000RR 2nd run, what happen to the first run? It's funny how anyone trying to make a point, including Busa owners, shows their bike winning. For every story there is another side. The one thing I can't get past is how ugly the 14 is. It looks like a snowmobile on wheels or a 3 seater jetski. If you could put everything the new ZX14 has into a Busa I'll buy it.

Magazine racing these bikes is awesome, but unless you're Ricky Gadson you'll probably be just as fast on a 2nd gen Busa as on a ZX-14. And I'm pretty sure that Suzuki has a more-powerful Busa waiting in the wings to satisfy all of the peeps who have to have the "fastest bike in the world". These "speed wars" always go back and forth.

Steve, you're killing me. You know you get a hard on everytime my bike is at your shop. By the way, you helped make it what it is today! On that note, I need to get that tire and more dyno time. I know you can squeeze out a couple more HP with my injectors calibrated.

Speaking of the ZX14, I love the new Concourse (touring bike with ZX14 engine). That's what the cops here in Boise are riding and will spank my FZ6.

Ok let me chime in here. Since my bike was the actual test bike Kawasaki used to test against the ZX-14 and I got the results from their tests straight from the horses mouth so to speak, and this is coming from Kawasaki, he said that a taco from taco bell could mean the difference. For those slower than others, he was saying that they were pretty even. Now whether or not that is true, that did come from Kawasaki and in the end, the Gen II Busa is a far better looking machine and Kawasaki went majorly wrong with their single seat making it look like grandpa's touring bike. I'd like to refer back to what Eric said, for most people, either bike would most likely not see the greatest potential.
