It was taken from the camden apartments at warmspirings and eastern at 6:48 am by two men in a gray chevy silverado with a gray cap with red stripes I'm still working on the video but I have pics of the truck and I'm still trying to enhance them to get the plate number but this is the fuckers who took my bike

Thats a pretty distinguishable truck. Ugly topper on it. Should be easy to find.

Can you get an entrance shot of them coming in? might have better luck with plate.

Also, consider talking to the news channels. likely they will tell you to piss off, but maybe if you ask nicely (or begging sometimes works) they can run a quick blurb on the news about it. Send them the pics and tell then your (sob) story about how its your only means of transport, blah blah blah... might work.

oh, and it sucks that this is what it takes, but consider trying to scrounge up something for reward... money is a good motivator for ppl to do the right thing.

He talks out of his ass often. When I was a member, and an officer, I wanted to beat his ass! Just remember, people are big and bad and stupid when they sit behind a keyboard. I choose to keep the philosophy of " Forgive them father, for they know not what they do." hope you recover your bike, and that they catch those bastards!

I think the "no garage-no bike " comment really meant that you're bike isn't safe if it isn't a garage. I take it as more of a warning than anything. But then again I didn't just discover my bike was missing and rightfully pissed off.

The reason metro won't tell you is because people get in the way. There was a stolen car found by the owner this week and he Drew so much attention to it he blew any chances of a stakeout to actually catch the bad guys.

I remember last year i had 2 bikes stolen in 2 months at our old apt complex on the north side.....it was chained up too...... the first night there was 5 bikes stolen that night.....the next time there was 3 in a night at our complex..... i moved after that..but the cops said for bikes at an apt complex the thieves tend to wait for you to replace your stolen bike with the insurance money and will come back again. they left all the harleys alone....i agree...a garage is your best bet.

My bike was the only one stolen and it was the hardest to steal there are two brand new r6's and a busa parked within twenty feet of my bike and they weren't touched but they don't chain or even lock the triple tree but mine was locked and chained up this wasn't a random thing I was targeted by some one that's why I'm so pissed and the fact I haven't had the bike two months yet so my insurance will only pay it off not replace it

Damn that sucks man.....sorry to hear that........well...i know this will sound a little lame but if they pay it off, at least it will show on your credit report that you paid off a loan and hopefully your credit will goup a little...? just take out another loan to buy another one...hopefully at a better interest rate

At least you were fortunate the insurance will pay it off. With new cars they depreciate it and give you a lit less than you even owe and you are stuck with the balance. That's why they sell "gap" insurance, which is still a rip off

If you don't have a garage, you will not have a bike very long in this town. If you don't have a garage, you shouldnt own a bike. Don't be mad at me for typing the truth, be mad the the thieves that made it this way.

Appartment complexes are like shopping malls for the thieves. There not not much you can do to keep them from stealing a bike from a complex. Thieves are good, really good. I remember when i moved back to Vegas in 06, there was a Busa taken from the DMV parking lot in broad daylight.

Sorry about the loss man, glad you actually have a lead, pics and a chance. When my bike was snagged, all i got was a rent a cop telling me that two people rolled up on a bike, the back seater got off, screwed with the bike for 10 second and rode off with it. Suncoast parking lot, security watched from 100 yards away.

This is what insurance is for.. you cant keep living life like everything is going to get robbed from you.

My first bike was stolen 15 feet from my bedroom at my apartment complex wheel locked and chained with liability insur. I learned after that. SO much in fact that I decided to get renters insurance shortly after..

And what do you know...my house gets broken into.. thank god I had that renters ins...fucking garage didnt do shit to protect my stuff.

Now I have video cameras and offsite backups of the video. Do I feel safer? Sure. Will a garage keep people from stealing your bike? Maybe keep the bike from being seen sure, but from being stolen? No. If someone is watching you, your garage isnt going to keep shit out when a window in the back yard is easily smashed with a rock.

IF you are going to own expensive things, take the right course in protecting yourself and your belongings. INSURANCE IS YOUR BEST BET.

Looks like a GMC truck. All the LEO bashings in the past, but don't be surprised if they find your bike. They are professionals, and they are pretty good on finding the thieves especially if they have solid leads.

Live and learn. Just like wearing your gear, taking your helmet with you and not leaving it on the bike, yada yada. Apartment complex are a magnet for motorcycle thieves. This is why I have an attached garage to my unit, plus good insurance.

I'm confident that your bike will be found. Please keep us posted. I'll keep an eye out for it here in Boise. You got to be a complete moron to try to ride it in Vegas.

shit if I saw someone riding my bike around town I think it would be the one and only time I would run a biker off the road and pull the same cager bs I didn't see him, and no matter what if someone wants your bike there gonna take it and even the police say I was targeted come to find out the guy with the busa (Chris) left his keys in the bike that night and when he heard someones bike was stolen he flipped thinking it was his but was shocked they didn't even touch it, but anyways thanks guys for all your support and I hope they find my bike soon I'm itching to go ride I think I'm gonna lose it if I don't get out of this pos cage soon
