LEO and Insurance are well aware I have it all on vid. The officer who took the report already watched it too...he chuckled and said - "yeah, good thing you have that because the guy is saying you hit him. He said he was stopped and all you had to do was stop - but you didn't, you hit him."
She should have kicked him in the nutz for lying!!

I don't think the excuse she just hit me would fly too well. There were a ton of witnesses, the impact was to the front right fender straight on, and he hit the side of a car 2 lanes over. Pretty open and shut even without the video.

Grrrr! Stupid dimwitted clown of a ricer and his goddamn e-brake.

Dawn sounds like a great gal and I am really glad she turned out okay. Props go to the nurses that pulled over to help, they really are angels from heaven. I can only hope that someone like that is around the day I am in a wreck like this.

ok now, question, she was going maybe? 15-20 b4 she hit? maybe slower...the hit was innevitable, but, when you get to that speed, if you can react quick enough, you think you could actually try to jump off the bike right before impact?? say onto the hood of the car or over it? instead of doing the face plant or try to land on your feet? ive seen it done before but in a diff situation and without a car...but look at the speed then think could u leap off the bike right before the car hits? or over it? i dunno just wondering

Well I think you probably could jump off the bike, but why would you? I actually thought she would be able to just get through that narrow crack between the cars. I think I would only jump off my bike if I knew FOR SURE that I was going to hit something. Otherwise, she may have jumped off the bike and in another situation the car would have left enough room for her to pass through. Therefor she would have wrecked her bike anyways and now she would be laying on the interstate... Who knows. I'm sure she has replayed this over in her head a million times, but in the end I think she came out pretty good, no need to beat herself up.

Wholly fawk.

What I want to know is WTF was the deal with that purple/dark car hitting their brakes and sliding sideways into the other lane?! You could tell the rider was trying to take evasive action, but there just wasn't enough room. She did try though, so I definitely give her credit for that.

But after watchin' the slo-mo...I just have no clue why the hell the car locked it's brakes and turned right. They weren't THAT close to the vehicle in front of them. Fawkin' azzholes!!!!

PS Ya, the cleavage was nice too. LOL
