Anybody see the liter bike comparison in the April edition of RW yet?

The contenders are:
Ducati 999s
The brand new '06 ZX-10R
The brand new '06 CBR1000RR
The heavily revised '06 R1 (The R1-LE was along for a partial comparison)
The completely unchanged '06 GSXR1000

The declared winner by a wide margin was the lightest bike (by at least 11lbs) the least expensive bike in the test and the only bike unchanged from last year! It finished 1st or 2nd in every single category.

Suzuki GSX-R1000 - 160.58 points
Honda CBR1000RR - 154.21 points
Yamaha YZF-R1 - 149.44 points
Kawasaki ZX-10R - 148.82 points
Ducati 999S - 139.32 points

the Ducati 999S did post the absolute quickest lap time at Pahrump. Suzuki was .02 seconds behind. Both were at least one half second quicker than the rest... The R1 was the slowest. The Suzuki had the quickest average lap time for all riders.

Why are we acting all surprized here??

The mighty 1K LIVES atop the heap.

Some get it.......some just want to.

Now I read another review in a British magazine, the guys that wrote were part of gay club of some sort…look at the complaints:

Pete B: …. I don’t like the way the bike constantly trying to wheelie even when you don’t want it to… (come on that is gay!.... he likes the R1 cause the color, chances are was pink)

… this is Luke…. Big disappointment… the engine is flawless it goes on forever,… last year is more nimble although is less powerful, you can use it…..
(Probably is difficult to ride in high heels too)

…. This is Pete A… if you ride it fast in the road, it demands 110 % of attention, It got the most power and wheelie off nothing in any gear – even if you run over a matchstick,,,, (no comment!...homo)

Lol… I’m kidding … enjoy the review… fonts are really small.
