Hey all, I know most of you know that for $20.00 Race Tech (or one of the other suspension vendors) will adjust your sag and set your suspension at the track (even if you're not riding the track day). Does anyone know if there is a shop around here that will do the same thing? I finally got my stiffer front fork springs put into the bike last night and I was hoping that I could possibly have a shop set my suspension this weekend. Right now I just put everything back to stock settings and was going to go from there. If not, then I'll wait till the April 8th track day at LVMS and go get it set. Oh crap...just realized that is the same day as the long ride to Kingman. Damn it. Okay, now I really do need to know if any shops will do it! Thanks!

Good question. I was thinkin' Racer's Edge already, but wanted to see what other people thought from experience. As STEEL stated, do you know how much he generally charges to handle the suspension setup? Thanks for the info, Ali!

I hope so, because I only have about $20 I can spend on it. LOL So, that's why I was wondering. I'm sure I'll give him a call today and see how much and if he can do it over the weekend. It shouldn't take too long, especially if I show up in full riding/race gear.

i think it is gonna be more than 20 bucks. get a couple of friends and do it yourself... all you need is a tape measure and a few simple tools. the only thing anyone can set-up on the spot without riding the bike is the pre-load. which never changes... the hard part is the compression and rebound which require a person to ride the bike and feel what it is doing. best time to do that is at the track

I'll have to speak with Dale when he gets back into town mid-next week. True, it is best to test it out at the track for the comp & rebound adjustments, but I really need to work on setting up the sag and such because now the rear will be different because the front doesn't dive as much, so everything should be "recalibrated". I really don't want to wait over a month (till the track day I'm doing) to get my suspension set up. I'd rather do that now. I can always have them adjust the clickers when I'm at the track and try and get a feel for it there, but the main thing right now is the initial sag setup on the bike. That'll make a huge difference right now. He said it'll probably be 1/2 to 1 hour worth of labor...depending on what they have to do. Currently I reset everything back to the stock settings, but that definitely doesn't mean it's correct. Especially with a different spring rate that I have now.

I stopped there to have my brake line flushed, and he said is $75 per hour.
