Ok at the poker run today there was some discussion about whether or not you could be fined by the water authority if you got caught washing your vehicle in your driveway. It seems the general belief is no you cannot wash your vehicle in your driveway, or you risk getting fined. That kinda worried me I've already been fined for watering my grass on the wrong day before and I'm also guilty of washing my ATV's and trailer in the driveway to and i dont want anymore fines and trouble from the water authority.

I got home and after falling asleep in my office chair and waking up with a keyboard imprint on my face, I went to the water authority website and looked around.

It pretty much says that you can wash each vehicle you have, once per week as long as you have a positive shutoff on your hose. Meaning one of those spray nozzles that isnt letting water just run the whole time you're washing your vehicle.

Quote:
Washing of personal vehicles at residential properties is limited to once per week per vehicle and requires a positive shut-off nozzle on the garden hose.

From looking at you....this must happen a lot.

Mayberry doesn't play that shit. I wash/water what I want. My wetness comes from the always looow dam.

I've seen the city water nazis always driving around our block too.. Good thing I don't have any grass.. But I usually wash my car once a week with a shut off sprayer on my hose.. But it's always good to be friends with your neighbors.. Cause they can get a pay back quick like..

Once a week seems reasonable for any street bike (if your not a neat freak)... With an ATV, or off road bike that must suck tho
