It took them almost FOUR MONTHS to get me the title to the FZ1 that I wrecked, and they knew I needed it to get my insurance payment. It took numerous phone calls to both them and the DMV, just to find out that SportsWest screwed up the paperwork three times in a row. How incompetant can someone be?

It was paid for in cash, no financing and no lien holders... a very simple sale. Send the MSO off and get my title. While waiting for the title to the FZ1, I bought a VTX1300 used.. registered it, and got my title in 2 weeks. This was over a month ago. Took SportsIdiots almost 4 months to do the same thing.

And knowing that I was getting my insurance payment when I finaly got my title, do you think they offered me any incentive to purchase another bike there? Like, a discount? or even a free hat? NOPE. Just here's your title now move along....

Since July of 2004, I've purchasedthe following from RideNow Powersports:
new - 2005 Honda VTX1300C
new - 2005 Honda ST1300
used - 2005 Honda VTX1300C
new - 2005 Honda CRF50
new - 2006 Honda 400EX
new - 2006 Honda 400EX
new - 2006 Eton Viper 90R
new - 2006 Yamaha FZ1

Congrats idiots.. I'll never purchase another bike from you incompetant bastards again, ever.

I know what ya mean Pheer...bought my last two cages out of state...seems the dealershit here didn't want my money. Not that Ima braggin' but between the two hybrids I've droped dang close to 100g in 9 months...That's the thangy with Vegas. The dealershits, no matter who they are or what they sell, could care less about customer service and the customer loyality. Thank goodness for the internet and the people who DON'T have the "You will buy from me and like it...BTW bend over and here's the vasoline with sand and broken glass in it."

If it's worth it to ya file a complaint with county bidness licensing and better bidness bureau.

RideNow??? How about RideNot! There customer service sucks, there techs are worse, and the billing dept thieves. I will never buy from them again. I fear that anything may go wrong on my bike even its a warrantied item I would probably still pay someone else to fix it.

Anyone get the tire warranty when they got their bike? The sales manager told me there was no such warranty that would warrant a wearable part.... Strange thing is, my good friend had that warranty from the same dealer, same sales manager. WTF?

Gotta love it.

Ended up spending that extra 100.00 for it though, 1st flat was 210.00 in tow fees and another 200.00 for the tire. With all the construction we have around here, It really came in handy. That 100.00 warranty put 3 free tires on that bike for me so far this year.

I Ride: Currently shopping for bike. Had 07 R6, 78 DS 125, 02 600r, 05 R6
I had purchased a tire warranty on my 600R from the Yamaha dealer on Boulder. (dont know if it's still a yami dealer) anyway I had a screw in my tire which was stock and they replaced it with a power pilot tire. So it was worth getting the warranty.

Yeah, 1st day out with my bike and I get a flat. 210.00 for a tow and another 200.00 for a tire.... I Made sure I got that warranty. Of course it took a call to corporate to get it because the dealership was still claiming there was no such warranty.

Another good thing to carry is AAA Gold, it covers RV's and Motorcycles. The gold also gives you 100 miles of towing free.

Mr Pheer - If you want to get anything done with this company, go straight to their corporate office. Since they took that number off their site, I have posted it here for people.

Please feel free to bitch about RideNow there too.

I had NUMEROUS problems with those guys, I filed 2 complaints on tham with the BBB. they are worthless, and will NEVER buy anything from them, and everybody I know who is looking for a bike or parts or anything I stir them AWAY from those guys.
the customer service is terrible, the service is worst, they'll charge you for a job they didn't do. and what they do they do it wrong or break parts etc...
I can't believe they are still in business.

their corporate office don't give a damn, I had contacted them 2 years ago, they had my bike for 3 1/2 months to do a warranty job, everytime it was the same story , we're waitimg for parts, then a week later, we just received the parts it should be by the end of the week, then no it was not your parts wwe received blablabla.... I e-mailed corporate, I talk to the regional director who's based in AZ, he promise me that by the end of that week it would be done and that saturday somebody from their shop will bring the bike to my house, he even left me his cell number, so me all excited to get my baby back, waited and waited the whole fricking saturday ...for nothing.....

when you send e-mail or call to the corporate office, they just pass it on to your local dealer, which are a bunch of useless $^#@*#@^*$(@...... all they do is good talk but that's it !!! and it's always somebody's fault.

they're a bunch of thief too, I had the extended service thing which is a different company, and got a few service done there, when it's like this the dealership actually bill that company for the services. well as an exanple, on the bill it said they changed my air filter and charge the other companie, tough luck I have a K&N filter, so no they didn't change crap, say they change fluid, nope they didn't, I checked everything and they didn't do half ..

I posted this up on 702, but thought it fit in nicely here....

Right around the corner from my house we spot a bike sitting on the side of the road, so Manny and I stop to see if he needs help. The guy says check this out and points to swingarm. The rear shock mount was snapped in half. How he did'nt wreck and get hurt is beyond me. He goes on to tell me he bought the bike from RideNot less than 24 hours ago. He was pissed. It was obvious that it had been broken before and poorly welded back together. RideNot could easily of killed this guy by selling a used bike that was not safe and/or not been safety inspected.

so wouldn't you want to warn as many people as you can to stay away?

when people hit that site, they will be able to see how many people have had problems with them... right, and when they see that it's not just a few, and not just one location.... don't you think that will have an impact? Maybe make someone buy elsewhere?

Even if corporate doesn't do shit.... if you could stop just one person from buying from them, isn't that worth a post? What, they lose a sale that could be a min of 5k.... right? Wouldn't that make you feel a little better knowing you could get back at them in your own way?

Personally, all I have with them is a warranty I paid 2600 for. I have been complaining about problems with my bike for a year, never looked at.... so I paid all this money for what? NOTHING! So Fuck Ride Now, this is personal, I am going to persuade as many as possible to stay away.

My profession is internet programming and marketing, my blog has been getting GREAT placement in the search engines.... this new site will be even better.... People WILL see this site. (Search google: Keywords: ridenow powersports, the site is on page 2 and it has only been up 9-10 days and I have not submitted it to any search sites or done any marketing yet.....) ;)

However the impact of the site depends on people like you, I need your support and stories about your experiences. Please help spread the word and tell your story. Your 5min to make your post may cause RideNow to lose 5k or more in a sale. Get enough and trust me, corporate WILL take notice.

Thanks w@llSpl@t, I too feel the same way, so much so, I started the site. They pissed off the wrong person this time. Sitting on line is my business, something I am pretty damn good at, it is my goal to get the message about this company out to EVERYONE!

So far so good, getting decent views (no promotion yet) and more to come. Today is the 1 week anniversary, not sure why the stats are saying what they say, there is a 7 day and a total for site views, yet, it's only been up for 7 days tonight. Go figure.

jwd, yes, I am sure this is getting seen, however, the goal for ridenowpowersports.info is to get everything under one site.... Show more than one store from more than one area. This will show the viewers that this is happening everywhere and to more than just a handful.

If I was researching a company, and I just came across a couple sour customers, well, that happens in all business, you cannot please everyone. Now, when you get problems with 30 locations in 6 states, and everyone posting has a horror story to tell, that has a bit more of an impact.

Granted, this may not do anything for you personally with RideNow, however, you will be helping to inform your fellow bikers to beware. Of course, if you can care less about your fellow biker then that is your prerogative, sad but your prerogative. However, a true biker helps his fellow biker, not wishes then harm or for them to get screwed. ;) So if you have a story, please share it there and help stop the insanity.

I just bought two more domains last night to help with SE Placement.... ride-now.info and ride-now-powersports.info there was another I was going to get but I am a bit short on cash.... 1st of the month and all.

I give it another month or 3 before I hear from their lawyers asking me to shut the site down. But that AIN'T going to happen. Not as long as we still have a 1st amendment. :)

Thanks again for the support w@llSp@t, your support is appreciated

~Broc
