Re: Theft of Bike in Vegas Love the "shocker" sticker... Did anyone else catch it??? |
Re: Theft of Bike in Vegas "Metro says there is hope... in September, they recovered 6 stolen motorcycles." To paraphrase Adam Sandler well, whooptie, fricken dooooooooo. I guess our local law enforcement agency is fine with the statistic (from a 2005 study from Progressive Insurance for metro areas larger than 500,000 people) that Las Vegas is FOURTH in the nation in it's bike theft rate... some two and a half times GREATER than the national average. I wonder if we were fourth in the nation for homicide would they be saying "Don't worry there is hope, we solved a handful of cases last year". Lame. I hope the riding community no longer wonders why our bikes are stolen at an alarming rate... it would appear it's because our police believe they are doing fine with regard to this problem here in Vegas. :taz: |

Re: Theft of Bike in Vegas awesome guys fucking awesome!!! this is was truly awesome. i know when my ride got stolen in 02 i was never gunna see her again =( and its unfortunate, most of these bikes get stripped down the same night they are stolen =\ the best we can do is just get the best insurance for the bikes, and do what u can to prevent theft, alarm disk lock, i doubt u still see much help from the police..i never did |
