Every morning I get up and hit the 19 miles of twisties to work. In my daily commute I have learned a few things. 1. trail braking is my friend. Since this is So Cal and by its very nature it demands that the roads be packed with traffic at all hours of the day and night, I have to choose my passing locations with care. On occassion this requires this requires me to exceed the posted speed limit by a MPH or two, thus comming into a corner pretty hot. While I could get off the bike and grind a knee I dont think my jeans are up to the task of doing their protective duty, so I have really started trail braking alot, good stuff if you use it right. 2. I really should slow down Every morning there is a nice dew on the road and in the air. Everything is wet including the road. I have even gotten a few rain drops. I have caught myself blazing down the road only to wonder how slick is this corner going to be? I have never felt anything starting to get loose but then again it only takes once. 3. It's F'n cold in morning........ period. WTF I'm from Vegas I freeze my balls off when it's cold and wet in the morning.
