those FPS games make me want to go find a corner and puke until the room stops spinning

I vote for Guitar Hero III, it comes out in a couple more weeks. Rock Band comes out shortly after... yes Mr Pheer has both preordered

If you like driving games, Dirt is real good, and so is Nascar '08 and its got pretty good multiplayer racing. I suggest the wireless racing wheel controller.

I think Project Gotham Racing 4 either just came out or is about to come out, has exotic cars as well as bikes.

I've played Halo 3 a couple of times.. about 20 minutes each time. Just cant handle the side to side or spinning movements, it gives me vertigo and makes me dizzy. My eyes are telling me I'm moving but my body is saying wtf.. no you're not.

Other games dont bother me, just the FPS games. I'm going to take Halo 3 to gamestop and trade it in on something.

Halo 3 is still one of the best FPS games for a console. If you're buying The Orange Box, I'd recommend buying it for the computer, if you have one that can handle it.

Honestly, years later when I tell my kids about the golden days of FPS games, I might mention the original Halo. Rest damn assured I will blather on about Half-Life, Half-Life 2, Counterstrike, and Portal.

And let me tell you... Portal rules.
