Hi everyone. Sorry we haven't had any meetings as of late, but this boy's been busy. I opened an office in L.A. last month and the work up to that has been nuts. That being said, this is what is new with MARS (Motorcycle Awareness and Rider Safety): I have a firm commitment from Lee Parks to participate in an event here in Las Vegas. So long as it doesn't conflict with his regular schedule, he is in. I also spoke to the gentleman at the MSF that deals with grants. It seems thay have grant money available to help out grass root efforts like ours. This will help a ton in getting our first event off the ground. I will be posting up 2 more threads in the next few days. The first will be a date for the next MARS meeting and the second will be a list of areas were we need help. Be on the look out and PLEASE HELP!

WOW! That is a powerful piece. It brings home the reality of what happens when cagers get careless. BTW I have been on that very exit several times. It will be weird going by there next time.

wow! that was well put together. I talked with my brother and we are going to try to get Josh Hayes and the newcomer to AMA, Michael Beck to come for this event. We need to talk to their agent and set it up when we get final dates. I also have a friend who is a distributer for Arai helmets. I'll ask him to be a vender for this event. I'll be looking for more updates...
