My friend is looking at hyosungs and I dont kow anything about them. I told him to go with a suzuki but he has decided. Any info would help.

For the money can you really go wrong with them? If he is a new rider, then let him go for it..

I've had a very positive experience with mine. A couple of things that need to be done to it right out of the box: FP jet kit, and vesrah or ebc pads up front. Handling and power are ll about the same as an SV. The hyosung does not steer as quick, but is more stable

Slightly heavier SV650 copy, basically. Most SV650 parts fit.
