I was riding with my friend today and we decided to go to DV. Had fun and we decided to wick it up on the way back. As we started* to return a second set of headlights appeared behind my buddy. "Does CHP have fast bikes?" I'm thinking as we start to really get on it. But noooo, no lights. I know that all the bikes we saw today were Beemers out for a Sunday drive. It can't be one of those. So I give it a little more juice and we are now approaching lift off on the dips. Still, lights behind us. So we turn down what will become Bell Vista and just start to rail. We get into Pahrump and low and behold behind us is the phantom rider. I look over and see a Yamaha 1300 with a license plate "gleno". Could it be? Yep, I met the SCS president and he was movin' on that thing. Then he tells me that he has a 03 GSXR1000. Damn. Was a lot of fun and I wish we were able to ride more but next time you guys decide to go out Pahrump way I will be looking.

Thanks for the fun ride and look forward to seeing how the Gixxer runs Gleno,

Sean

That was the shit, the ride to the DV junction was kool, get on to the road entering DV and i am just getting ready to tuck in and crank it up when i see the birddog going off, look ahead and see chp coming at me. Look in the mirror and seanol is flashing lights. Needless to say i did not get to rocket off so we took a moderate pace in to DV. Took it to stove pipe wells and have a cup of java and then head back. This extra set of lights shows up and i get passed at 120 by the guy on a silver bullet. But i don't let him get to far ahead, he see's that i am behind him and going to pass, he waves me around and i let loose of the 12r, railing along at about 140 now. Get to the turn off to head back to pahrum and don't slow down to much, make the right and the left and take off there was no way i was getting passed again just to get 'd again. At the gas station we all pull in and have a little bs session and i see those plates and knew who that masked rider was right away. I have been off the site for awhile but am back know. Gleno that was some fun shit dude, well have to do it again.

Thanks,

Troy
