I've been out here in So Cal since Thursday looking for a second office location. Since I am on a 3 city tour I couldn't bring the bike. No place to put it. A bud from the ZRXOA site knew I was coming and offered to let me use his bike and he borrowed his friends Gixxer 600 (great Guy...Thanks Jim).

Sunday we headed out on PCH via Malibu and took the coast route all the way up to Oxnard. We hopped onto the 101 to the 33 toward Ojai. From there we jumped on the 150 to Carpenteria. 33 miles of twisty roads and we only saw 2 cars the whole stretch. We grubbed down at a little liquor store/deli, cruised by the beach and headed back south. Back down the 101 to Camino Del Norte. We did some triple digit runs past some farms then back into the Santa Monica Mountains. We spent almost 2 hours just hitting different canyon roads. Several section were some TIGHT 1st and 2nd gear turns (FUUUUUUUUUUUN!). We wound up the ride heading back down PCH back to the South Bay.

All in All 220+ miles of great riding! All that and I didn't even have my bike! I gotta tell yah, I love the roads up here. Well, that's my story and I'm stickin to it!

Yup...sometimes I wish I still lived there. I loved the roads out thata ways for riding...definitely a blast!
