Well I had to go break in the new bike and here are my first impressions of my new 1000 rr 1. More power riding the 600 is fun but I seem to have to keep the rpm up to keep the power up. The 1000 has plenty of power a little slow in the bottom end but up thru the mid and top there is plenty of power, Nice smooth power. I found myself not having to shift as much and in the turns since I was not at 14,000 rpm it seemed to be a whole lot "smoother" ride. As we all know smoother is faster 2. Dont know if bigger frame or what but I seem to be able to get under the windscreen a little better, than the 600. Since I'm a big guy this is a plus. 3. Braking I'm sure that being a new bike helps but it seem to have very strong braking, I also notice that I will have to adj the suspension some but that is normal. I have not got a chance to really hit the twistys yet but I have noticed that the bike "falls" in the the turn better might just be me that all for now
