THANK YOU; to those that have taken the time and made the effort to post pictures from last night. It helps those of us that are so far away to feel like we're a part of this. Thank you again. Wish we could have been there physically, but know that we were and are there in spirit.

Our hearts ache!

Fellow rider dude Gleno – RIP Buddy.

Twisted, another PNWRider here, thank you for posting the pictures up at PNWRiders.com and thanks for the invite. We appreciate seeing the local love that Gleno brought to our slice of the WWW pizza and shared with us.

It was touching to see that he was using the same sig here that I use at PNWRiders.com.

Thank you for saying so. It matters in just knowing that others are welcome. And I would of course say the same to any rider anywhere that they are both welcome and wanted at PNWriders. As Gleno has said and I will now vow to do: "Spread the Love!"

Wish the gathering was for any other reason, but I am glad to see all the love shared for an awsome man who just happen to ride a motorcycle. (and ride the hell out of them from what I have seen in pics)

That was a great turn out! Erin and I were devastated at the loss of our friend, so it was hard to talk. It was quite symbolic to see all of you last night and I am sure Gleno was touched.

I'm sooo glad to see so many people showed up. Gleno deserves that....he deserves the best. That's why he was the head of SCS.

Thanks for the photos. I just wished to God I could have been there.

Hello -

Joe Frickin Friday here; I'm a moderator over on www.BMWST.com. THere are several threads about Gleno in progress in the "Other Topics" forum there; The "memorium" thread has many pics of Gleno and friends at BMWST events, as well as a deeply moving slide show put together by one of our own members.

One of our mods has provided a link to this thread for the candlelight vigil pics. However, the pics here can't be viewed by lurkers, only by registered members. Rather than make everyone from BMWST register on SCS, I'd like permission to do one of the following:

1. hotlink to these pics from a thread on BMWST (least work for me);

or

2. save a copy of the pics and then upload them to BMWST.

Please let me know what I can do.

Thanks -

Mitch

Whatever is easiest for you, Joe. Gleno loved his BMW bretheren and always spoke of the trips to Torrey. Use the pics however you would like.

Thanks much; didn't want to step on any toes. Our DB software won't display images whose names end with non-standard extensions, so I'm downloading them and will host them elsewhere for BMWST; that should also save you guys some bandwidth.

Thanks for the good wishes for his wife & family. You guys are doing me a world of good, since I'm a world away and couldn't be there with the rest of our family. It's so nice, being so far away, to be able to see pictures and read messages from people who loved my brother so much. But it's so good to be able to see his face and feel his spirit as a look at this web site that he obviously loved a lot and gave lots of time to, and hearing the words of his good friends. You guys are great!!

Love,

Sorry you could not be with us today, I know that must hurt. The showing of people who loved Glen was absolutely outstanding. Your brother was a tremendous person that will be dearly missed by a lot of people. If you would like some more pictures of Glen, just PM me an email address and I can send you some of mine. There are many others, as he was adored by so many of his friends and fellow riders. If you need anything when you visit, just let us know.

Thank you so much, Doc. It's so nice to be made welcome here. I'd love to see any pics you have time to share. My e-mail addy is muffin58@btopenworld.com. I was sad at not being able to be there with you all on Sunday, but being able to be here on SCS has made a world of difference. I've benefitted so much from seeing all the pics of the candle light vigil, the bike parade, and so on. And I've also enjoyed being able to go back and read some of his old posts--it's almost like hearing him talk, isn't it? There's no doubt in my mind that my brother had become a very special man since I'd last seen him, and that he was VERY loved and highly respected. Folks are still kidding around with him even though he's in heaven. He'd love that, wouldn't he?? He was always such a kidder. You guys have given me so much, though, just being here and showing your care for Glen & for all of his family. Thanks for all of your offers of help and support. You're a great bunch!!

Hugs & Thanks,
Phyllis
