Had a kick ass 3 days in So Utah. The FJR really works as a smooth, powerful, very capable sport/tourer. This is my 1st real trip on it, and I'm really falling in like with the bike. I wanna upgrade the suspension, change seats, and windscreen. Add a coupla other little farkles, and it'll fit me far better. Great bike tho.

So Utah is awesome right now. The colors are 1 week away from peak. The aspens have changed, and the reds, yellows, oarnges etc are prime. I didn't take even 1 pic, even tho the digi was in my side case all weekend. I knew being back up there next weekend would be a beeter time for snaps. I was just too busy riding.

The weather has gotten much cooler. It was actually cold leaving yesterday at 7 am. I had my Gerbing heated clothing on high for about 150 miles, til the sun warmed things up.

Can't wait til this comong weekend to ride those same roads on the Gixxer. See you all soon.

Cool for the "pre-game warmup" Gleno...

Sounds like it's going to be fun. I was going to bring just my full leathers up for this weekend, but maybe I should stick to jeans and warm clothing???? I'm wondering if the full leathers will be "too much".

I allways wear my full leathers out there, they keep me warmer and protect better to.

I was figuring that as well. Unfortunately my shit won't match because of my azz getting fatter and having to use my other jacket, but I guess the protection is more important than the looks. LOL
