Before you say enough is enough and move on?

I give 2 chances, if nothing changes, I move on.... is that too little? Should I give 3, 4, 5?

It depends on the specific case.

Case by case basis.

Some, I don't even give 1 chance...
Others, I give unlimited...

Maybe give more specifics about your scenario ?!?

good point, didn't wanna keep bringing up RideNow though... but here it is in a nutshell....

After court, they wanted a chance to make things right. I take the bike back to them, different location, get asked to do my 16k service early to see if that cured anything... didn't like giving up a service but to save time and be cooperative, I agreed.

Get the bike back, nothing changes.... I get a leak in my gaskets, take it back to Surprise because they did some personnel changes and thought I would give them a 2nd chance as well.

They take it into the shop, look the bike over and tell me I have 2 leaking gaskets, not one. They order the part, call me when in. I take the bike in, they service it, I pick it up and I am told....

The gaskets were not leaking, but we changed them anyway... what is happening is you are getting back compression of oil into your BAK. That is normal and should be cleaned every 3k miles.

I state I have my oil changed every 3k... Oh, that is only looked at with a full service I am told.

Hmmmm, about a month, month and a half and less than 500 miles since my 16k service.... shouldn't that have been checked?

So I see that even with the changed they made, nothing has changed.

I emailed their CEO with this and he wants me to bring the bike back in.....

Do I? or just bite the bullet and take it somewhere else and pay for it?

I just want this bike to run properly. A guy on the 702 forum has my bike but with a stage 4 set up on it, he is getting 42 mpg.... I am still at 25 mpg, the bike stalls from time to time and I have my gauges (tripometer, clock) reset themselves from time to time as well.

If they want you to bring back to fix it, and not charge you for it...

I think I'd let them.

Yeah but this has been going on for a year and a half basically.... there has to come a point that you realize they aren't efficient, capable or just not caring enough to dig deep and look for the problem.

You also have to ask yourself...

Why do a 16k service to see if that cures a problem that you have no idea what is causing the issue? Why replace gaskets that don't need to be replaced? Just to get the warranty money? Meanwhile, the bike still runs like shit... where I am not out money, I am out time and gas for nothing.

See what I mean?

That is not something I needed to hear. :(

Gonna take it to a certified dyno tech here, they said they would pick up the tab for it. I know that will cure the gas millage thing, hope it cures the stalling.

I think the biggest problem I have is that I get a 16k service, told that I have an issue that should have been taken care of with a 16k service... So to me that says either they are still feeding me a bunch of crap, or they have no clue to what they are doing. Either way.... why would I want to trust someone like that with a machine, that if not running properly, can kill me?

See my point?

Granted, if something happened and it was due to mechanical negligence, I, or my surviving family, would have one HELL of a lawsuit. But shit, I don't want anything bad to happen... know what I mean? ;)
