After an unfortunate get-off, I'm back. Well, almost. Just put the bike back together. Many $$$$ later, it looks almost like new. Just waiting for a couple minor parts and I'm back in the saddle again. I almost feel like I got a new bike and I'm waiting to ride her. Can't wait. I'll be in Texas all this week. Maybe my final parts will be here by Saturday or early next week. I'd rather be riding than wrenching. If anybody needs to know how to build a 2006 GSX-R1000 from scratch, just let me know. These modern bikes are so light weight that they are very fragile. A minor get-off now-a-days will cost you plenty.

Well it's about time, just put the gsxr back on the street today. I went for a short ride to V of Fire, was a good ride. Lots of tourists though, made fast work of getting around them though. One guy stopped and said, "man you must really know this road". Yup, only been riding it for the past fourteen years. J, call me when your ready to ride. J, don't forget, "slow down when you can not see around the corner".
