A U.K. home that has not one but two important pop culture connections is for sale.

Cotchford Farm, in East Sussex, is where Winnie the Pooh was written and where Rolling Stone Brian Jones drowned.

The English country home, believed to date back to the 16th century, has exposed wood beams, an oak-panelled dining room, two fireplaces and landscaped gardens. It's listed for two million pounds by Savills real estate agents.

A.A. Milne bought the home in 1925 and used the surrounding woodlands as inspiration for the settings of his stories, like Pooh Corner and the 100 Acre Wood.

In 1968, Brian Jones, one of the founding members of the Rolling Stones, bought Cotchford Farm. He was found dead in the backyard pool the following year, at age 27.
