I've come to the conclusion that i've pretty much topped out my wage at my current job. Small business = small pay i'm guessing. Well, i've talked to a neighbor who is an apprentice installing fire sprinklers, (its not considered plumbing) its a union job so benifits are good. I don't like paying union bosses but the pay this kid is getting before he's even a journey man is very good. Starting pay is equal to what i've topped out at. What do you think?

I've already looked at electrician apprentic and plumbers apprentic, both pay good but 1 i don't want to get electrocuted and 2 i don't want to work around shit. Any other apprentice or employment i havent thought to look at please chime in.

Well I guess it depends on what is important to you. Money or conditions? I am a union stagehand local 720. I make a great wage and have bennies and a pension. Starting off you can make between 18 -20/hr depending on your job. As you get experience in a certain craft you will make more and work more.
Stagehand work is pretty easy but I will say that work is sporadic during the summer so you have to plan accordingly.

Good luck!
