Yeah, it is.
I'm glad you did it yourself.

One of the things to watch out for is the tightening of the oil drain bolt.
The thread on the engine case is very soft, and can easily strip if you over tighten that bolt.

If you can, invest in a cheap torque wrench.
This will help you not only with the oil drain bolt, but with many other things you might work on that need specific torque settings.

Oil drain bolts are usually around 15ft./lbs/ of torque.

For anyone just getting into wrenching on your own toys, I highly suggest hitting up Harbor Freight for your basic tools. You can get a metric socket set, combo wrench set, screwdriver set, hex key (allen) set, and torque wrenches (ft/lb & in/lb) and box for probably under $150.

I did the rear delete kit this morning. U aint kidding. U can strip every bolt if u aint really careful. I'll check that store out. I can use some good tools. I still got my front signals and front window to do. Then my 2 friends r gonna do the same. Glad I did it. Its a lot of fun. Might do a muffler 2

Get one of those portable swamp coolers. They're fairly cheap.
They work well with the low humidity we typically have, and dont consume much electricity.

I think they have them at Frys.

I got a $500 portable A/C unit off eBay for $150. That'll be utilized in the garage next weekend during our party.

Here's Harbor Freight's site. I have been shopping their since 1992 when I was a machinist/welder in Cali. Back then they used to just sell stuff from broken shipping containers. Now they sell everything for your garage/home

Here is the info for ordering Amsoil if you haven't done it before:

Where and How to Buy Amsoil Products in Las Vegas NV
If you live in Las Vegas NV and would like to know where you can go to purchase Amsoil Products you do the following:

You first determine which Amsoil Products are right for your needs. You do this by Contacting me (John Cardell; your authorized Amsoil Dealer) by phone (702-376-1298 or email me) to find out what is best for your particular application, or you may fill out my Amsoil Product Information Request Form with your questions.

Once you know what is best for your vehicle (or if you already know what you need) you call the Amsoil toll free ordering number 1-800-956-5695 and give customer referral number: 1254295. Very important you give this number since it enables you to pick up the products directly at the warehouse. The Phone Ordering hours are as follows: 5AM-3PM M-F PST. The operator will give you a customer order number which you will need when you visit the warehouse to pick up your products.

The address to the Amsoil Warehouse is: Map of Amsoil Warehouse on 4545 N Lamb Blvd Las Vegas, Nevada 89115-1822, US

If you order the products through me, or through Amsoil using my referral (1254295) number or website Amsoil Online Store I will deliver the products (free of charge) right to your front door. This includes both businesses and residential addresses. All you need to do is call me on my cell: 702-376-1298 and leave a message with your order number and delivery address or send me an email with the same info.
