well some of you know about the issues with my R1. Well I got it started but it wont stay on. It turns off almost as soon as it starts. Im gonna try again after the battery charges up. Gonna hold the throttle down and see what happens.

Hmmm in the interest of not blaming the fuel pump, do you happen to have a banana or potato in the pipe?

Sounds like the fuel pump. Do the electronics on the bike shut off as well, or do they stay on. Do you have to turn the key off and turn it back on to get the bike to start?

I dont think anything is pinched with the lines...not sure if the fuel pump is still good or not. Couldnt imagine y it wudnt be. Once the bike shuts off I dont have to turn the key back off to get it started again. I dont know where the fuel pump even is so...I'll see what I can find

fuel pump is under the gas tank, usually bolted to the underside of it, undo the two bolts that hold the tank in (may be more) and lift that sucker up, usually there is a bar stand in your trunk you can use to hold the tank up. Check all the lines running to it.
