Motorcycle: 2009 GSXR-1000
Im about 1K outside of getting my valves adjusted. About to hit 15,000 sometime next month. What kind of bill will I be looking at???

Can this be a do it yourself kind of thing or no! haha

I saw a great write up on gixxer.com, but I would get a quote first. If its about $300 or less then let the dealer do it. If not bring it over my place and we can tackle it on a weekend afternoon. Not very hard to do, just time consuming.


Then have a few beers while we wonder what we do with the left over parts.....

dealer is about 550$ cycle tech will do it for about350 400 steve is about 400 at las vegas dyno

Lol! Well if there's drinking before during and after there is going to an abundance of parts lol. I'll do some shopping around but if its expensive get the brew ready!!!! Haha

another good tech-day excuse, im deffinatley in on this one i'll bring some whiskey to go with the beer.

preventive matenence-
how to change out your stator and or regulator-
valve agustments-
tracing electrical problems-
etc..etc.. i can come up with more.. lol

I took mine to Steve at Dyno Tech a few months back. It was around $400 (tax included) for the valve adjustment.
