I am looking to purchase a set of rotors to use with my "new" Galespeed front wheel. There are plenty of rotors available on Ebay. All of the reputable listings for stock rotors are designated for either 600/750s (which are generally slightly cheaper) or for 1000s. Bike Bandit shows a different part number for the 600/750s and for the 1000s. 600 and 750s use the same rotor, 1000s use a different rotor.

All of the rotors look the same, they are all 310mm (I believe) and they all bolt onto the same wheel.

Can anyone confirm my suspicion that the difference is in the thickness, or at least the minimum thickness? My OEM 1000 front rotors indicate 5mm min. thickness. If the 600/750 rotors have a different min. thickness, please let me know what it is.

Thanks in advance for your help!

From the 06-07 GSX-R750 service manual:

Front disc thickness: Service Limit: 5.0 mm (0.20 in)

Same as your 1K.
