My 07 zx6r is making a weird grinding noise. It's not really a grinding noise but kind of like a wurring noise over and over at about 15-20 mph when I'm throttling it. It does this sometimes not always. It's low on coolant and haven't change the oil in a little bit. Has anyone had this past problem. When we have a ride, I'll let one of you guy drive it to see what I'm talking about. Thanks

If you hear a grinding/whirring noise it can only mean one thing. Your music isn't turned up loud enough

I have no clue. I'm not mechanically inclined at all, but I couldn't pass that one up. The only time I learn about something is when that something breaks down on my bike. I'm sure the experts will know what's wrong though.

Valve adjustment? Or possibly cam chain tensioner going out on ya. I wouldn't ride it if something seems off. Have it looked at. If your car breaks u will probably be fine, but is something breaks on a bike you will most likely hit the ground...

chain, breaks, wheel bearings, un lubericated water pump, valves would be more of a ticking, check you fans against ur radiator make sure its not touching.. ( CHANGE UR OIL AND COOLANT ) at 19k its a good idea to baby it.. keep it regular and prolong the life of ur bike

I have the same bike...about 43k miles on it.

Sound origin can be misleading while riding.
Check the chain for links that don't pivot with the next freely.
Also check for stretched links.

Cam chain tensioner is a tick-tick-tick sound...so it doesn't sound like what you describe.
