I have a few stock H7 bulbs laying around. Also have a used H7 HID set up laying at the shop. If it were me I would just pick up some HIDs they are pretty inexpensive and very easy to install.

Dont waste your money on HIDs right now. Buy a regular ol' halogen bulb. You should not have to remove anything to get it out. We were able to pull the plug with ease when checking your taillight, pulling the bulb is a matter of removing the retainer clip and pulling the bulb after pulling the plug. I have some ballasts for HIDs laying around. You would need to pick up bulbs (get them online for relatively low money) and we can wire em up when I get back. I suggest leaving your high beam as halogen and only going HID on the low beam but that is just personal preference i suppose. BTW, your high and low beams will ALWAYS be on separate fuses. They do this because if you blow a fuse fow whatever reason, you have the means to switch to the other light. If they were both on the same fuse and you only have a problem with the low beam circuit, then you would loose your highs as well and be screwed. - Justin |
