Actually John....I use a sending unit socket, 3/8 drive, turned backwards with an extension thru it. Works perfect. Cost me nothing. The socket has a 24mm hex on the back, as well as 3/8 drive. You'd prolly have to see it to understand. You can borrow it if you wish.

I need to buy a friggin' 24mm 3/8" drive allen head socket. I have that "special tool" that I actually got from the dealer (can you say RAPE?! ) and it works fine, but is a pain in the azz when you have the front wheel on a stand that goes under the forks because it hits the stand instead of being able to go around full circle to make it a faster job. | |
