Tomorrow night I will be installing my new 520 D.I.D. ERV3 Gold Chain. This chain does not use the typical spring clip on the master link. The master link pins on this chain must be pressed to fit. Anyone done this before?

Trophyscars was kind enough to lend me his Motion Pro Mini Chain Press Tool, but I'm not sure it will work on this chain.

This is the tool: http://www.motionpro.com/motorcycle/...ain_press_tool

Anyone have advice for me?

Yep, they are all yours. I will be around tomorrow afternoon or just call me next week John. But like Shwell said, your probably don't want them. I was skipping cogs on the front straight at SMMR last Sunday!

Of course, it only started skipping when I finally got Jason Curtis to follow me around.

Dave: Thank you again, your help was great. You're the Man!

Josh, your tool worked for pressing on the side plate. The tool just doesn't mushroom out the chain pin. Apparently, that is a seperate tool but thank you for letting me use it!

It should be cooler at Willow so hopefully that means more riding time. I'll let you know how it goes.
