Read too many articles about front wheel removal, but i havent found anything that will tell me how to lift the bike...everybody says get a strap...I was just wondering is there like a jack point on a 600rr? I have a pit bull for the fronts but im not really sure if it will hold the bike after i remove the whee and axles. Can anybody help me? Thanks.. I need to replace front tire.

The pit bull front stand should work with no problems as long as your using a stand in back also. It sounds like you have the stand that lifts up from the bottom of the fork tubes. You shouldn't run into any problems.

yeah you should use a rear stand for the added stability

which pit bull front stand do you have, the one with the center pin that goes into the steering stem, or the one that goes under the forks?
both will hold your bike up just fine while you remove the wheel

+1

Most front stands specify that you use them only in conjunction with a rear stand. PM me and maybe I can help.

put your bike on the rear stand first, then the front stand... then just take off the wheel

i've done it like that many times... no worries
