I never did the slash cuts, didn't like the looks, I used a glass pack from a car, welded it to my old bike, cut the tip at an angle, polished it.......thing looked like an aftermarket exhaust made for the bike, just didn't have a logo on it. I'm actually thinking of doing this for a buddies bike here in the near future....
