It's a very simple philosophy at red rock. Ride as fast as you are willing to pay for.

Lake is no different than RR. Actually, you are likely to get an even bigger ticket at the lake.

LOL take a break from RR

Actually any early am ride at RR is great Usually I make an initial run thru to make sure everything is cool, ex.. Rangers, road debris/condition, and to see how crowded and who else is on the road. If conditions are favorable then I enjoy a spirited ride. Spirited, not balls out track speed.

No matter were you ride excessive speeds are going to draw attention to you.
Save that for the track

There are not alot of ride spots in Vegas so

Time and a place for it and pick your spots

I vote option C!!!

RR is clamping down and the lake is stoopid fast and super pricey...

Mt Charleston, with a round trip on 158, before it gets too cold

Why everyone be trippin? I'm the one with the ticket. It was bound to happen sooner or later, and I'm sure I'm not going to be the last person to get a ticket at Red Rock. But that doesn't mean we should swear off of it. Change our riding habits, at least for the first trip through? Maybe.
But the rangers don't have the funds to have a speed trap set up every single day in the hopes the motorcyclists go through. We could always cool our jets for a little while, and if they've gotten used to the Thursday Sunday schedule set up a hump day ride. Red Rock is still a perfectly good place to ride.
