Wow. Leslie told me about the political thread on their board so I had to check it out. I can't believe the friggin idiots over there. Eric, you have done a great job of stuffing some of the primary retards, but there are more that sprouted up. Boy am I glad none of those mental midgets want to come here.

The one dude that's a SSgt saying he sees Obama getting assasinated. He didn't say that he would do it (otherwise I would report it to OSI) but you get his point.

I mean, some of the stupid shit they are spouting. Shit that has already been proved wrong. On both sides. There is a guy I work with that is constantly sending me stupid emails full of "facts" that has already been proven incorrect. I need to send him to that thread so he can feel at home.

I'll just tell him to buckle his helmet tight and strap on his drool bib, because the short-bus ride might get bumpy.

LOL...

I really had to stop responding to those guys, though. I don't mind peeps having a preference of one candidate over another, but at least base your decision on something other than rumors and the superficial.

yeah political shit isnt even the beginning point of some of the outlooks over there, I really need to try to keep my mouth shut when I am on their board... Even when I was trying to give some kid advice i got my ass raped for it. I was holding my tongue back so hard when everyone was babying him for his second crash in a fucking month.

This is what i wanted to say after everyone went off on me for "giving condescending advice"

In the 5 years of riding, 5 years of scs and almost 2 on 702 boards. (5 total)

SCS has had - 3 crashes, 1 death?

702 has had over 20+ crashes posted on vegas roads, and 1 death due to a rider going out of his limits to stay up with the group. Whos fault is that? Really? If you are riding in a group. Everyone must look out for everyone else in the group. Or you split shit up. Fast medium slow. Basic fucking knowledge.

Good advice is almost non existent on 702. And if it is given, you have everyone and there mommas thinking there shit is the best. The major point out of all of this is that no matter who what where whenever crashes, any member of scs site, is willing to give advice and not baby the rider. That is the LAST thing anyone of us should do. We should offer help if we THINK it is needed. 2 crashes in a month, from not paying attention, definitely needs some talking to. And i only do it cus i care. Why else would i try to save someones fucking life? That is why we have less crashes. We have way more responsible people, riders, and members then 702 will ever have. You have a girl who barely knows how to ride, looping her bike? Any one of us know how hard it is to loop your bike. That is 100% inexperience and knowledge of your bike if you fucking loop the thing. There is absolutly no excuse better then i was trying to wheelie. Who the fuck does that if they do not know their own bike? You need to twist your wrist so far in order to loop a bike it is damn near impossible to do unless you are TRYING TO. I wouldnt want to ride with people like that, and i think thats why you havent seen me at a 702 RIDE. a function maybe... but thats bout it. And if i am on a 702 ride, im riding with my group. not them...

Dont even get me started on the ducati fan boys, who think their bike beats every other bike on the road. Jesus what a laugh. I love people who buy the nicest bikes, but then, have no fucking idea about how the work. Reminds me of the mac/bmw fan boys. Driving and using the nicest shit. But when you ask them where the power button is. they have no fucking idea.

Rant off.

I saw that thread after you tried to give the guy some decent advice about watching where he was going and it really showed a lot of ignorance from those who responded. A lot of people think that riding is just some cool activity and any advice that can be perceived as negative is blown off.

about the ducatti snobs, I have a single sided swingarm just like them and I get that for $10,000 less.

It can get a bit extreme on their opinion threads, same reason why i try and not get involved in discussions on politics and religion.

Wow. I though the 702 Obama thread was pretty entertaining, then I realized that these jokers get to vote. On the bright side, it only looks like a few of them are posting up the idiotic remarks.

There's only 2 or 3 that really hate the guy. It's interesting to see some of the deep seated hatred some people carry around. I personally find it amazing how in this day and age people still harbor real genuine racism to the point where they won't accept any evidence to the contrary of their views.

An interesting different point of view on race for me is due to growing up down south in Atlanta. Atlanta is pretty much predominantly black, yet if you go anywhere outside of the metro Atlanta area it's full of rednecks everywhere. I grew up having some black friends and going to school with a pretty even mix of all races. So now whenever I end up going to some of these bike related events (ie: BikeFest) and it's about 99% white people I actually feel kinda weird cause i've grown up around alot of people from different races. Go figure. ::shrugs::

Here is the thing with that.......

Alot of people do not know they are racist. I have a few close friends that I know harbor ill feelings about my race. Every once in a while they say something that makes it obvious, and when I ask them about it, they really don't see what is wrong with their way of thinking....... Here is a statement I have heard numerous times...

Damn Jerry, I am not usually into Black woman, but your wife is Beautiful....

He could have said "99% of black woman are terrible looking to me, but your wife falls in that 1% I find attractive"....

There is no difference. IMHO..... When I told him how terrible that statement was, he got mad at me for thinking that way about him...

Racism is alive and well in America. The only thing that has really changed is the fact that peeps reserve those feelings for the comforts of their own homes. And that is how it should remain since it looks as though it is not going anywhere.
