TrackTactics is bringing you yet another event hosted by Hypercycle track days at Buttonwillow Raceway on Sunday July 11, 2010. TrackTactics is working diligently on building a solid calendar for all our members so we can get them to the track at affordable prices. We have officially reserved the Street and Intermediate group for this event. The purchase of this event will be available in the TrackTactics shopping cart and cannot be purchased through Hypercycle or their website. The shopping cart is only open for Rider ID Card holders. The Street group will be sold for a mere $65 and the Intermediate group will be $75. Please be sure to choose the correct group upon purchase because you will not have the ability to change at the day of the event. This event will only be available to our TrackTactics Rider ID Card holding members, so please refrain from disclosing this event to the general public. Please keep in mind that TrackTactics is working hard to support their fellow riders out there, but without your full support our mission is becoming more and more difficult to fulfill.. Regardless, TrackTactics will never give up, we will still continue to bring new riders to the track at reasonable prices no matter what it takes.

The gates to the track are going to open around 6:30-7;00am. It is recommended to be there by then so you have time to set everything up before the morning meeting starts. Registration and tech opens at 7AM and the mandatory riders meeting starts at 8:20am. The race track opens up at 9AM.

Remember to run through a mental checklist before you head out to the track, double check things like protective gear, extra gas and your rider ID card. Also, put the key to your bike in a place so you don't forget it. There is always somebody who forgets their motorcycle key and is forced to hotwire their bike at the track, so please don't be that rider. You also might want to bring things like water, high energy snacks and sun-screen (for the back of your neck). Trust us when we say that the neck is going to get a lot of sun.

Please check our forums regularly for any additional information that may come up or if you are looking for rideshares to the track.

If you have any other question please email us at info@tracktactics.org or call 702 885-0909.

See you at the track!

Respectfully Yours

TrackTactics Team

FYI... I posted this here since this trackday was not to be disclosed to the general public. But we have several card-carrying TrackTactics riders with access to this forum, so here it is.

I'd love to go check this out if we can get a group to attend.

I might have to do an event in Reno that weekend. I'll check tonight. If not I am going.

As far as hotels there is a better selection in Bakersfield. I'll bet you could get a 3 star hotel for about $50 a night on priceline there.

SportRider does a lot of bike testing at Buttonwillow...

I won't be able to make it though. Gonna be on the east coast for a wedding.
