3400 miles in 6 days and I was done with driving for awhile. Angie's moved up at Anchorage right now and I'll be doing this drive again in Feb!! Got lots of good pics and just felt at home being in Anchorage.

That was my first time driving the Alaska Highway but I would recommend anyone to take a good ten days to go slow and see everything. We got a call the first day traveling that Angie had a job interview (still waiting to hear yea or nay) but I told her to say fuck it and let's look for employment a little further north. Anchorage is more expensive then Vegas but Eagle River/Wasilla is way more affordable. Short term goals---BBQ my house/acreage summer of 2010 I should have a lot of meat stocked up in the freezer, but Xmas might be cancelled  | |

I did that drive 3 times.... twice to fairbanks and once to Anchorage....... This time of the year is perfect....... But a Feb trip may be a little more dangerous. That is the coldest time of the year up there, and alot of the petrol stations are seasonal. But I would love to take a nice long Ride up there during the summer, it is very beautiful country...
