I've been hesitating on getting gauntlet style gloves for too long. That glove pic may have pushed me over the edge.

I got a 20% off one item coupon from Cycle Gear in the mail recently, may want to check for that to save some money.

Speedy Recovery......

Are there any details avail on what actually happened? Was this a gravel thing, or something.....

I am a strong believer in Humor as medicine, because it pulled me through some very tough mental times in my struggle with health.. A good laugh can make a difference in a persons day. So share a laugh whenever you have the chance.

I do not know them personally, but could someone pass my well wishes on to them.

I have a theory on what happened, here goes:
The air temp was 35 degrees (according to weather.com, google weather, accuweather) yes I checked all 3!

So the road could have been in the 20's or just cool enough to cause freezing conditions, not too far South there was snow on the sides of the roads. Either a car/truck could have carried some snow/ice, leaked some sort of fluid, or there was enough moisture in the air to cause a thin layer of ice on the road, causing the rear tire to loose traction.

Either way, the rear tire did loose traction causing the spill, but what exactly caused the tire to loose traction? I vote for some form of ice. The road was definitely cold, the tires should have been warm enough to stick, so I think there may have been something on the road. There wasn't any visible gravel on the road.
